Problem launching Mendelson AS2

I installed mendelson AS2 yesterday. The installation went fine and I was able to start the software. Today, I am getting an error when I start the software.

Address already in use: bind

Can someone help me?

  • Go to the install location and navigate to the etc folder => C:\mendelson\opensource\as2\jetty9\etc
  • Open jetty.xml, search for jetty.port, change it to a port which is not used
  • Save the file and reopen the AS2 app

    Hi,

    I'm facing the same error & followed as suggested i.e., changed the value for jetty.port in jetty xml file from 8080 to 8081 but it still didn't work.

    I tried searching for the process id using 8081 port & then force killed it, deleted the lock file & tried reopening AS2 application but the issue still persists.

    Any help here please?
