Expired public primary certification authority r1 - Safe to delete?

The email notification I am getting is "The certificate mendelson public primary certification authority - r1 on mendelson opensource AS2@serverXYZ has been expired and is unusable. Please renew it."

This expired 5-24-2021, as some of you may know. This cert came with the application.

Is it safe to delete?

as2guy,

every certificate/key could not be used anymore if it is expired - and as there is no use for it you could delete it.
