Too many incoming messages

Hi ,
we have a partner that send us about 100-200 messages at once (one message = one message id).
If they did nor receive MDN status in two minutes , they resend the messages.
They can't change the time of two minutes.
Our AS2 can not send MDN status in the period of two minutes.
So the partner send and resend all this messages.
Is there something that i can do to avoid this situation ???
