Error launching X11 graphical client (oftp2_start.sh)

Hi,

When starting the X client

server:/home/mendelson> export DISPLAY=xx.xx.xx.xx:3
server:/home/mendelson> oftp2_start.sh

The x11 graphical windows comes up, and I get following error:

The local client-server connection has been disconnected by the server

[7:53:42 PM] Client connected to localhost/127.0.0.1:1236
[7:53:42 PM] The remote server is not configured to receive connections from other hosts but localhost. Please start the remote server with the parameter "-allowclients" to change this behavior.
[7:53:42 PM] The local client-server connection has been disconnected by the server.

Anyone has an idea how to fix this?

tim,

running the user interface on another machine than the server is a feature of the commercial edition, it's not available in the community edition.

Hi,

Thank you for your comment, but I am afraid this is not true.
I tried on another system and there it did work and started the x-client and lists the settings.
So I am looking for some difference / configuration setting that might cause this.
