I am evaluating the free version with hopes of buying the corporate edition.
One issue I am running into is with how the inbound/outbound directories are set up. The help file does not show it in the free version.
My situation is this:
1. I have many local stations
2. I have many trading partners
3. In many instances the many local stations will communicate with the same trading partner.
4. I want to set up a folder for each local station and then a subfolder for the trading partner.
5. I want all incoming docs to come into the same folder, which will then be picked up by my EDI Translator (Inovis TrustedLink400).
Will I need to set up a separate trading partner for each local station/trading partner relationship and specify the folder?
Where do the inbound documents go by default?
My situation is similar. I have 2 local stations where the as2id are:
puntoit and edifact.cz. The incoming folders are:
I have several partners, each partner has is own directory, for example:
as you can the files from all parter, addressed to a specific local as2id arrive into a single folder.
For each partner there are multiple outbox folders, one for each local station.

please open the partner manager and navigate to the partner you are interested in. Select the tab "directory poll". You will find a label there that contains the outbox directory for this partner. The inbox directory is always below the local stations directory.

Is there any way to change the inbox directory? Also, I am not seeing an inbox under my local stations. Will it be created when I receive a doc? I do have a C:\mendelson\opensource\as2\messages\_rawincoming directory though.

I actually don't know when it is created, but I'm almost sure you should already have it, if you created the local station.
I was able to successfully test one and it looked to me like it creates it when you receive doc. Don't know if that is right though.
Id like to be able to receive all documents into the same folder if possible. Not sure if that is option. Once I receive the docs via AS2 I run an ftp session from my AS400 to retrieve them into my EDI Translator. If I could receive to the same folder that would allow me to skip having to run a command to move them on receipt.
you have one directory per local station, but you can create a command which is triggered when you receive a file, to copy the received file to a common directory. Look at the last tab in the partner definition.
I created a batch file and that works. Is there a command to copy to a directory without have to run the batch file?
